Objective:
The brainchild of LaMarr R. Jones and partner Ryan J. Walker, the Urban Film Alliance (UFA) is a program created to assist minority filmmakers through strategic alliances and partnerships with institutions that are dedicated to the progression of individual artistic expression. The UFA mission is to improve the positioning of minority filmmakers in contemporary cinema by establishing a programming platform that aids in the development of the artistic & commercial vision of the independent motion picture community. In an effort to redefine the urban contemporary cinematic experience; the Urban Film Alliance showcases the worlds most prestigious and critically acclaimed independent short and feature length films. Each film must be directed/produced/written by individuals of African, Latin or Asian descent.
