Objective:
Our client UTS College was acquired by Pacific Coast College.
The new management likes what we had done before so they continued
to hire us to develop its CIS (Corporate Identity System),
promotional video, and website. One of the main objectives
is that we need to figure out a way to show the school’s 4
major programs and how they can relate to the other programs.
Solution:
The school’s new campus was located beside Fraser River in
New Westminster. For a special reason, they wished to somehow
combine an arch shape in their new logo. Our designers put
Canada, water, and arch into every drafted concept. The current
logo clearly stands out from the other designs. We then elaborate
the same creative atmosphere to the other mediums.
For PCC’s 4 main programs, our Art Director Ethan ingeniously
created a logo assembled by 5 circles. The programs represented
by 4 perimeter circles and the largest circle in the middle
symbolize PCC. These 5 circles are connected to one another
through the channels.
By the time we were discussing about the promotional video,
PCC just bought their new campus location and was still renovating.
We used virtual 3D technology to pre-build the new campus.
For this was still a new established school, we used a lot
of photos, animations, and visual effects in the video.
Result:
The new logo is clean and precise. It made our other teams’
works so much easier. Our Sound Engineering Director Ran gave
the video powerful background music. We managed to finish
this short yet effective video from start to finish in 2 weeks.
